March 13, 2007 The Cycling Association of Star Valley has announced their first Annual Scholarship program.

Howard Jones, CASVpresident announced " We have set up an annual scholarship fund as a way to thank the community for all their generous support and to pass on some of that good will. This scholarship is open to all Star Valley area high school seniors who might want to apply. This year, it will be one scholarship for $1000. Our interest is in providing this assistance to a college or trade school bound student who might not be able to go otherwise. It is not being restricted to college bound students. So, any post high school education program would be considered."

Selection will be based on a combination of academics and need. Selection of the winner will be made by the Cycling Association of Star Valley board of directors. Students who want to apply should contact the Star Valley High School guidance department for an application form.
